The furnace air filter should be changed.

We just purchased the house so we had no idea when the furnace air filter was changed last. Our whole family suffers from allergies so one of the first things we did was replace the furnace air filter with a new 3m filter. We had always used a 3m filter in the past and it helped keep our allergies under control. Due to our allergies we n ormally changed the 3m furnace air filter 3 times a year. Most people do not need to change the furnace air filter that much but our family does. I normally purchase a few of them at a time so we have a new 3m furnace filter on hand at all times.
